Field Notes
Habitat:
ranging from deserts and grasslands to alpine meadows. You’re most likely to see them perching on telephone wires along roadsides, in open country with short vegetation and few trees.
Notes:
Unfortunately sitting atop a very tall palm so it was hard to get a good angle. But this little beauty had just finished a lizard lunch (see last photo). From my distance, I think it was a green anole.
