Description:
Vanessula is a genus of butterflies in the Nymphalidae family. It contains only one species, Vanessula milca, the Lady’s Maid.
Habitat:
Seen while walking down a track into the northern part of the Kibale Forest NP.
Notes:
Kibale National Park (pronounced Chibale) is a national park in South Uganda protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 km² in size and is located between 1,100–1,600 meters in elevation. The northern part of the park has the highest elevation.
