Description:

A large predatory bird usually found along rivers, lakes, or sea coasts where their favorite prey is fish. Both males and females look the same, but the female is about a third larger than the male. A mature bald eagle is uniformly brown with white head and tail and a yellow, hooked bill. Immatures have brown heads and tails, with scattered blotches of whitish coloration on their bodies and wings.

Habitat:

Usually found along water features.

Notes:

These two eagles were fighting over the fish that can be seen in the background.
