@AshishNimkar The more I see, the more doubts. It could also be a Glyptobothrus biguttulus. I'll do some more local research to see what species are common in the Netherlands.
Schistocerca americana
@AshishNimkar the Chorthippus seems to live in the Nordics.
Hmmm, my spotting resembled the Wikipedia images on the Caelifera (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caelifera), but I agree it also resembles the Nomadacris on EOL. Anyway, DanielePralong's comment on locations would mean it has to be the Caelifera.
Also find http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chorthippus_biguttulus
I have read its Africa, I am just telling similarity.
In any case ins't Nomadacris septemfasciata found only in Africa south of the Sahara?
It seated like a locust. and all body colour matched. Neck and wings. http://www.eol.org/pages/52182
@AshishNimkar What makes you think it could also be Nomadacris septemfasciata? Going after spots, stripes, color and legs I think it is the Caelifera
Have you compared it with Nomadacris septemfasciata
Unknown spotting, anyone a suggestion?
