Field Notes

Habitat:

Backyard. Oak tree canopy. Near Hills. River.

Notes:

If this is the Bufo, it will eat cat or dog food . These guys are exotic / invasive in my area & excrete a poison that can kill small dogs/ cats if they lick , or put their mouth on toad. If your animal looks like its foaming @ the mouth, or you suspect contact with a toad , rinse their mouth immediately. PS I didnt kill the toad & have captured another, that i will relocate.

Bufo is the genus of toads. Many toads are being reclassified into a new genus, but many texts still put them all in Bufo.
