Field Notes

Description:

It is a diurnal rain forest dweller. Primarily terrestrial, spending more than 60% of its day on the ground foraging for food and socializing, while sleeping and searching for food in the trees.
This species is listed as Critically Endangered, they are caught for the live animal trade and hunted to provide bush meat. The total population is estimated at 4,000-6,000 individuals.

Habitat:

The northeast of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi (Celebes).

Notes:

Perfect teeth and really angry, I wasn't able to get that close to the fence.
It was photographed at the Barranquilla zoo.
