Description:

Thief!
It is a well-known and widespread species. It is scavenger and opportunistic hunter. In Ngorongoro Crater, I bet their favourite is tourists lunch-box.

Habitat:

Diverse. From forest to savanna and from rural to urban area...

haha. Kites in Ngorongoro probably believe themselves are pets of human. It roosted on the roof of our Lodge in the evening. And the chef there demonstrated that if we left food on the table, especially chicken, it would often come down to get it even when we were actually quite close to it. Those kites in the picnic area in the Reserve do it too, so we were suggested to have lunch inside the car.
