Field Notes

Description:

Pink fruit, orange flowers.

Habitat:

Tropical rain forest

Notes:

Interestingly enough, this banana plant grew with its inflorescence climbing upwards, rather than hanging down from the banana plant (it's not actually a tree) like most other species. This particular one was more like a bush in its growth, it seemed.
