Field Notes

Description:

Hardy young tree with what I would describe as a tap root.

Habitat:

?

Notes:

My children (and I) routinely plant seeds and pits from fruits we eat. I know this is not apple, pear, or peach since we've grown plenty of those. I believe that pot has had lemon, orange, cherry, and pineapple seeds in it. But honestly they could have put seeds from a hiking trip in as well. It seems to be very happy with little water in a window that gets full afternoon sun and I think it has been growing for somewhere around 7 months now.
