Matimar1, it wasn't a baby :) - and probably, Ashish!
Third picture is telling this bird behavior.... Its look to curiosity for finding in darkness...
Hehe. What a comical bird! Great spotting, Carolina! :)

Me too Jonathan! But the pinky ones the new born.
The second one is really beautiful !!
beautiful picture... the story makes it even more meaningful....
So beautiful! He sounds like a real character!
Thank you, I made a really good friendship with this toucan, at first I thought he was aggressive, but then I realized he just wanted to check out the camera or something haha, and after taking the pictures he just started following me around pinching me. He was victim of the illegal pet trade and I thought he would be more like spiteful, but nope he was actually very friendly.
The second Photo goes beyond imagination. Perfect Portrait. Thanks for sharing.
It's ok :) As far as I know you suggest an ID when there is an "unknown spotting" or you think the ID gave it is wrong. And if you want to share a link you can post it on the comment box.
I'm trying to figure out how Project Noah works -- wonder if it is helpful to confirm IDs (we'd like to suggest that they send some of their best photos over to http://www.eol.org)
Csparr, I already had the ID for this toucan, but thanks for the link anyways.
Way cool! Thanks for sharing.
