Description:
A club lichen that is typically found on acidic soil on rotting wood, moss or humus at the base of trees. The definitive feature for this species is that it is upright, abundantly branched, and cups that are present are partly perforated with small holes.
Habitat:
Opal Mountain - Jasper National Park - sub-alpine montane region of Alberta. A wet season, there were a lot of fungus in the area.
