Field Notes

Description:

A small tree with a dense crown and weeping branches. Tolerates extreme conditions. The tree is considered as an evergreen with needle-like branchlets that serve the function of leaves. The true leaves are tiny triangular scales.

Habitat:

Usually coastal.
