Description:
So glad to see these pretty house finches back at the feeders. House finches were originally introduced to Long Island, New York, from the western U. S. in the 1040s and have since populated the entire eastern U.S. They have a streaked belly with an orange red face, breast and rump with a brown cap.
Habitat:
The house finches are now at our bird feeders.
