Species ID Suggestions

Comments (8)

It is most probably the "Feeling blue" Cedrus deodara. Google pictures app helped a lot :)) thanks again!
happy to help. another tip: set up a Google Photo account (free), upload a photo there, install the free Google Photo app on your phone, open the image in that app and use the "lens" feature which can ID and take you to wiki articles for everything from wildlife species to architectural landmarks, artwork and geographical features like mountain peaks and waterfalls. It is an amazing example of A/I in action.
Thanks for the response. I am not close to the location any more, but I will try to take more pictures once I am there again.
Also a geographic location is very helpful.
One of the few things I know about IDing tress (from a grade school science project like 50 years ago--HAHA) is that the most distinguishing thing is the precise shape and veins in a single leaf (and also if the leaves come out of branches in singles or compound clusters). So I would suggest some additional photos of the single leaves and also how they connect to the branches.
I thought someone could help me identify this specie of tree. I spotted it in one of Herceg Novi square's, Montenegro. Thank you in advance :)
