I am sure that they are able to. But I have had raccoons jump from the roof too.
Can they climb on roofs? 'cause I might've saw one.
You know, they eat these in Louisiana. :-)
Nutria is the spanish name for Otter, and when I saw this picture I thought it look like an otter, but then I saw the "oversized rat" (haha) and then with Lori's link now I know its definitely a rodent. All this made me wonder about the name nutria, and found out this coypu was originally from South America, and they called it "false nutria" because his long tail looks like an otter tail, so now I see the connections.
Lol yes it is! It was looking at me like it'd eat try to eat me if I came closer.
