Thank you all for your comments and corrections, I have added the details. Yes Katy, Fruit Bat is a generic name for several species I think, but they are not my speciality! They were close to the Botanical Gardens and in the same group of trees as the Frogmouth.
Hi Alice, they're part of a very large flock in the Botanical Gardens. Malcolm, I edited your spotting to change it from invertibrate to mammal.
Are these in the Zoo area. I saw them years ago. thanks for the pictures.
