Description:

Pregnant female Douglas Squirrel, raiding the jays' feeder (payback is heck!)

Habitat:

Mixed coniferous forest, coastal SE Olympic Peninsula, WA

Notes:

We have lots of these characters. Very fun to watch, as they compete for food and territory. First rule of squirrels: squirrels don't share!
