Description:

The Joker (Byblia ilithyia) is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in parts of Africa and Asia.

The wet season form of the male the wings are a deep rich orange. Dry season forms are lighter.

Habitat:

open savanna, often seen in bushes alongside paths.
