Hello, I'm new to Project Noah! My english is not very good, but I will try to communicate... I am a Biologist and researcher of this species in Brazil... Here, we call "macaco-prego", and your scientific name is Cebus nigritus for my study area, which is south of Brazil. This genre has several different species occurring in Brazil and most of south america... :) I love primates! I love capuchins! :D Your pictures are great! I will follow you! : D bye bye
In english it common name will be Black Capuchin. These monkeys are awesome, they are a subspecies of the Tufted Capuchin (the one I'm holding in my display picture) :) http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/5385705
