Description:

I took this photo because I loved the structure of this plant. I have no idea what it is. Its diameter was about a foot and would have been flat to the ground if it wasn't for the fact that this one had grown so close to the stonework behind it. There did not seem any evidence that it would have any flowers.

Habitat:

Short grassy areas around ancient ruins, with pine trees. But these plants were always away from the shady areas.
