Field Notes

Description:

nearly fist sized gelatinous mass, looks like the start of something, photos 3 and 4 show a mushroom that my guide said this mass will turn into, however, I can't be sure he was right.

Habitat:

tropical rainforest, 800m

Notes:

I'd never seen anything like this. Spotted along the trail to Nepenthes camp in Maliau Basin.
