Southern Tussock Moth ( Caterpillar )

At around 9:30 a.m. in the morning, I went into the garage, and then I opened the garage door. It was still windy outside. I went outside, to bring the garbage can, back into the garage. After I brought the garbage can back into the garage, I started looking around, trying to find something to photograph. I spotted something on the bottom right side of this garage. It was a caterpillar, and it was attached to the bottom right side, of this garage. The color of this caterpillar, was different shades of brown. This caterpillar, was one and one half of an inch long, and five sixteenth of an inch wide. This caterpillar is alive. This caterpillar, prefers Oak, but is found on a variety of deciduous trees.
