Field Notes

Description:

Semicircular brackets with a finely hairy upper surface that had white, tan, and lilac zones of color. The pore surface was tan and lilac with white along the edges. The largest were about 5cm across.

Habitat:

Growing on rotting wood in a mixed forest.
