Thanks Max, I have updated the spotting. The difference is quite obvious. This was one of my first spottings for Project Noah. Not that many experts around then. Also removed My earlier comment regarding Hooker Sea Lion to avoid future confusion.
Hi Malcom, nice pics!. Notice that your seal has a pointed nose, this would indicate that is not a sea lion. Check out this link also http://www.doc.govt.nz/conservation/native-animals/marine-mammals/seals/new-zealand-sea-lion/ . Hope that helps
Not sure if this is right but these Sea Lions are found where you located it. Did you know you classified it as an amphibian?
