Habitat:

Nest located on the wall of my house.

Notes:

I registered a Brachymeria prowling Crabronidae nests, the Brachymeria stayed a long time on the nest, bothering the Crabronidae that worked in the sealing of the nest carrying small mud balls. I'm intrigued, could this Brachymeria be a parasitoid for Crabronidae's mud nests? Please, if anyone has information about this event, I'm very grateful.

Thank you for everything, dear John La Salle, I will miss you. :'(
Six, beautiful photos....a beautiful nest....
Hi Sckel There are a couple of references to Brachymeria sp. (in one case B. villosa) parasitising Trypoxylon sp. - and in Brazil! http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0085-56262003000200018 http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0101-81752001000300005 In case the links don't come through - just google "Peruquetti Brachymeria Trypoxylon" Hope you are well - sorry I haven't been very active for a while.
