It was a white flowering bush that was in the front yard of the house where this pic was taken. Sadly, after I moved, the new residents cut down most of the bushes. I may have a pic of the bush, and if I do, will post it.
Definitely a monarch. They usually feed on milkweed plants, but I can't say for sure that the plant pictured is a milkweed.
