Description:

Lives throughout Europe except the far north. Normally flies from July but in this part of Spain insects come out whenever the sun comes out and winter is very short, just a handful of weeks.

My UK book shows a Yellow Ophion which looks similar, I'll check to see if they occur in Spain. Perhaps I should get a Spanish wildlife book, I only have them for birds at the moment.
