Field Notes

Habitat:

Shingle river

Notes:

Two of these kept landing near me, then flying a little way away and waiting. One then flew behind me while the other waited. Whenever I walked towards the other one both would fly to me again and repeat the process. Eventually I kept walking to where the one that flew went to and saw the chick! They were trying to lead me away from it.
