Description:

Blossom of the Almond Tree, a small deciduous tree growing between 4 and 10 meters. The flowers are white or pale pink, with 5 petals and measure around 3 to 5 cm in diameter. The edible nut that this tree produces is known as the almond.

Habitat:

In Turkey the almond tree can be found along road side verges, scattered around the mountain sides and in peoples gardens.
