Description:

Elk on the Upper Halfway River breaks in Northern British Columbia.

Habitat:

South facing river breaks.

Notes:

The elk congregate on the south facing river breaks when the snow gets deep and in the spring because these hillsides bare off first when the warmer weather and winds come.
