Field Notes

Habitat:

An inshore fish usually found in shallow water (to 80 feet) lying partially buried on the sandy bottom or gliding just above it.

Notes:

Another ray I almost always see while snorkeling here. (The other being the yellow stingray). This particular one was probably the smallest I've seen. It was busy digging for food.
