Female (top); Male (bottom).

How they eat? Just imagine they are vacuum cleaner which filtering plants and invertebrates from the water.

They are winter visitors in Hong Kong with more than 10,000 individuals in Mai Po (Ramsar site).

Habitat:

Wetlands.
It forages in shallow wetlands, especially mudflats in Hong Kong.
