Field Notes

Description:

Skeletal remains of a whitetail deer. The bones were scattered over a 10 foot area nearby to a small rural pond. The bones are from an adult, I don't know what sex as the skull was missing.

Habitat:

Rural pond in Hobart Nature Preserve in Troy, Ohio. Pond is in middle of a meadow.
