Description:

White seed capsules. Appears in spring, blooms, sets seed then goes dormant.

Habitat:

A parasite of oak and beech roots. Found on live oak roots. Quercus virginiana.

Notes:

An unusual plant. Does not photosynthesize. Not common in Florida.
