Field Notes

Description:

Flowering "bush" old and big enough to be called a tree, blooming in late winter.

Habitat:

Pacific Northwest by Lake Washington in Juanita Bay Park.

Notes:

Obviously not native, but something I've seen in many home gardens in the area as I've been growing up. Guessing from the age and size of most I've seen, I think it was popular to plant in the 60's.
