Description:
Water lily. Yellow. Leaves are large and flat and floating on water; the flower is above the water.
Habitat:
Paul's Pond in Breary Marsh Local Nature Reserve, Leeds. I read that " much of the site is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest" I had not known when I had visited.

Notes:
Reportedly it smells of alcohol ...hence the name. I cannot vouch for it though because I never waded into the pond. I will take Wikipedia's word for it.
