no no no ... just means there is always more to see! The flickr example breaks my heart. Kind of like the last minutes of the squirrel in my owl photo... that moment of death while still alive .... really wish there were some other way to organize life!!!

Awww, you have much more willpower then I would have had in that situation. I would have barreled in there, arms flailing, to save that little vole! Absolutely amazing photo, nonetheless. You have an awesome gift.

There is an intense image of this on flickr as well .... voles must be a big part of Heron diet, I think of them as salt marsh predators killing fish. But voles use salt marshes too.
