Description:
For National Moth Week 2016, a grey moth about 2 cm long with white, yellow and orange markings. It has raised silver along the inner margins of the yellow bands on all 4 wings. Family Geometridae. This species occurs in Central America, southern Mexico, the Caribbean and has been seen in Ecuador and Guyana.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters.
