Description:

This species was just beginning to be in full bloom over a rather wide area.

Habitat:

Only native to Umpqua River Basin. Lower elevation, southern-facing slope.
Grows on very shallow serpentine soils on rock bluffs with mosses and herbs.

Notes:

Shot a lot of photos of this rather rare find.
