Dingo
Canis Lupus dingo
-25.3242, 130.957
Field Notes
Description:
One dark and one light(and despite the one pic where the dark dog appears not to have a tail, both had tails). Both dogs were moving through the underbrush on a very rainy day at Uluru. They were headed in the direction of the waterhole at the rock. Whether truly wild dingoes or village dogs, our guide explained that the villagers do often keep dingoes fed in order to have sentinels around the village, and thus they are less wild, but still not pets in any sense
Habitat:
Near Uluru
