I'd agree that it looks like a Question mark, especially based on the shape of the hind wings. Take a look at the Wikipedia link and see what you think.
I agree Alice. The Genus is Polygonia...probably just a t/o.
Looks like a Question-Mark butterfly to me. Polygonta interrogationis on a Butterfly bush.
