Description:

Small striped brown lizard

Habitat:

In the rocks along the banks of the Illinois River in southern Oregon, where summers are pretty warm and dry.

Notes:

Very fast-moving when it senses danger, diving for cracks to hide in. It can be seen when sunning itself on fences (or other places).
