Description:
The eastern meadowlark is a stocky medium-sized songbird with a short tail. Breeding birds are yellow below with a black V on the chest. They have a white mustache stripe while the western meadowlark has a yellow mustache stripe.
Habitat:
Spotted at the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.
