Nannyberry

Nannyberry is Minnesota's largest native viburnum. 15 to 25 ft. in height, deciduous shrub, grows in light or shade, fruit is edible and can be used to make jams and jellies. Fruit also attracts birds and wildlife. In the spring nannyberry is a dark green with glossy foliage, with round-topped clusters of small 5-petaled flowers. In fall clusters of bluish black berries with bright red stalks create foliage in yellow, red, and purple.
