Description:

It is a medium sized nymphalid butterfly that has orange,grey, and black markings on both sets of the wings.The butterfly is very common in this area.This one was old and damaged and was feeding on horse mint.

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

This butterfly is found on every continent except Antarctica.
