Lantern plant?

Not so vigorous when grown in gardens in Minnesota. Guess it likes the warmth.
Very invasive!! Grew some from seeds amd the root system is vrry fast spreading and will take over a garden. Consider a weed or keep controlled in a pot.
Keep an eye on it. The Chinese Lanterns I've known will turn deep orange with age (the "flowers" stay on a long time).
