Field Notes

Description:

Taken at the Galápagos Giant Tortoise Breeding Center near Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island. I believe the first photo is a male, the second is a female eating a grub of some sort

Habitat:

Lava Lizards are found on all of the major islands except Genovesa. These photos were taken within the breeding center

Notes:

All seven species in the Galápagos are endemic
