mostly in swampy still waters with plenty of submerged detritus and crawfish (they're prey of choice). Occasionally the move overland on rainy nights. They are not particularly difficult to catch with the right trap.

I see, very interesting. what's the habitat of these? are they difficult to find?

If you look at the head you can barely see a stumpy vestigial leg on the right side. This particular species has four vestigial limbs, with three toes a piece
