Field Notes

Description:

Taken at Tagus Cove on Isabela Island. Males have brighter blue feet than females, but the best way to distinguish them is by their call; females honk, males whistle. Which is no help here.

Habitat:

Found on rocky coastal areas of most islands

Notes:

Subspecies is endemic to the Galápagos.
