Description:

These squirrels gather nuts, seeds, roots, berries and whatever humans are willing to offer them. They build nests in trees out of sticks and leaves.

Habitat:

Varieties of this squirrel are found across North America, but this specific variety are located across California at lower elevations, typically below 4000 ft.

Notes:

This little guy is eating half an apricot I 'shared' with him

very appealing..once i gave a loquat to a squirrel that perched on a eucalyptus and ate it..this cute guy reminds me of that...
